Read OnThe G0702 is a Grizzly-branded Weiss BF20. Same as the Precision Matthews PM20 and the Lathemaster LM25L. It is the mill that I have and like it a lot. No problems once you clean it and adjust the gibs (as with any import machine) It works well for me. The nice thing about it is that since there are so many BF 20's, parts are all interchangeable.

Drilling capacity & end mill capacity are only 3/4 that of X3. Dials are calibrated .002 compared to X3 .001 and .0005 on Z.

Lot's of guys buy a smaller lathe and try to machine big stuff. As long as you use it for it's intended purpose, you can do cool stuff with it. Good luck.

I've read every post on X3s, "BF20" types of machines, etc. It really seems that the BF20 class is what I need - good X and Y travels, large table, BEEFY (Hoss' videos on milling steel are great!), compact and good looking.
